Covid 19 Masking Update - March 21st 2022

We are so thrilled to invite everyone back into our new space!

As of March 21, 2022 NS Public Health is no longer mandating the wearing of masks in public spaces. At this time, Wonder’neath will continue to require the wearing of masks for participation in programs and for rentals.

Thank you for working with us to ensure that everyone at Wonder’neath continues to feel comfortable and safe in our space.

Update to Covid-19 Restrictions Affecting Open Studio - March 3rd, 2022

Starting March 4th Wonder’neath Art Society will open its door to the public once again during programming times! We will be following the current Covid-19 protocols.

What does this mean at Wonder’neath?

  • Open Studio will be limited to 25 participants, drop-in only (no sign up required);

  • Mask must be worn;

  • No snacks/food consumed in programming spaces;

  • We will not check for Proof of Vaccination.

Please remember we are a scent free zone, and have a severe patchouli allergy onsite.

Community Update - February 19th, 2022

Wonder’neath is closed to the public until the end of February, and will reopen within the recently updated Public Health Phase 1 Guidelines (announced on February 9th) in March 2022.

Open Studio is not offering in-person sessions at this time. We have transitioned to contactless take-home Art Kits for all of January and February. Our kits are designed with all ages in mind, and we welcome your feedback, ideas and support. Open Studio will reopen beginning on March 4th and resume Friday and Saturday in person sessions with a maximum of 25 participants. We look forward to working with you in the studio again!

In the new year with rising case numbers and restrictions tightening, Wonder’neath has made the decision to close our doors to the public for the months of January and February.

Update to Covid-19 Restrictions - December 16th, 2021

Effective 9 am, December 17th, 2021 Nova Scotia has updated their Covid-19 Restrictions.

What does this mean at Wonder’neath?

Open Studio December 17th and 18th

  • Open Studio will still be running, social distancing will be required, this means anyone beyond your personal bubble will be asked to be socially distanced.

  • As always, masks and proof of vaccination/ID will be required, for more information please click here.

  • All facilitators will take a rapid test prior to opening to the public.

  • We will have some screens between tables, and will limit some mediums. On offer still: lantern making, needle felting, painting.
