WONDER’NEATH COMMUNITY UPDATE (OCTOBER 5th, 2021) COVID-19 & OPEN STUDIO UPDATE

Wonder’neath has opened its doors, we have relaunched our Open Studio program and have more programs in development. Open Studio looks a bit different than you may remember: we are programming themed, shorter sessions, with smaller groups that fully comply with Phase 5 Covid-19 Policies. To see our Covid-19 Phase 5 Policy click here.

Our Open Studio program is now open on Fridays and Saturdays at the following times: 1-2:30 pm, 3-5 pm, & 5:30-7 pm. We are able to safely support a maximum of 20 participants per session. We encourage you to register in advance for sessions by clicking here. A limited number of drop-in spaces are held each session in addition to registered participants. Children under 12 should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Masks and proof of vaccination are mandatory, as we are a voluntary program that aims to support children and vulnerable adults. Please check our social media for updates about themes.

After supplying the community with over 12,000 Art Kits since the pandemic began, we are now switching our focus to in-person sessions, while working to ensure we are able to provide accessible programming to the community during this time.

Please follow our social media accounts for additional programming updates including: Studio Artist Program, Ground Work, Team City Art Hive, Art Bikers, Aperture Open, Afternoon Shift, and more.

The significance of the arts to help us face challenges and change has been recognized by many during this period. As a small charitable arts organization, Wonder’neath relies on support from a variety of sources including income from programs, workshops and space rentals, which are currently restricted. If you have the means to support Wonder’neath as an artistic resource for community programs and outreach, we would be honoured to receive your charitable donations. These can be made securely through e-transfer/credit card/cheque/cash or Canada Helps. We appreciate your ongoing support!

Yours sincerely,

Wonder’neath Board and staff, Melissa and Heather
